Immigrate Software Announces Graduation from Co.Labs Tech Incubator

Miranda Miller • April 9, 2024

Immigrate Software is proud to announce its graduation from the prestigious Co.Labs Incubator program on April 10th, 2024.

Co-founded by Keli Propp and Dirk Propp, Immigrate has been a part of the Co.Labs ecosystem since May 2018, benefiting from the invaluable support and resources provided by the incubator.

Over seven years, Immigrate Software has helped over 500 Canadian businesses fill labour shortages by hiring international workers. The co-founders express their heartfelt gratitude towards Co.Labs for its role in fostering their growth, empowering Immigrate to support Canadian businesses while helping thousands of clients make Canada home.

A Journey of Persistence and Innovation

Immigrate’s story began in December 2017. Co-founder Dirk Propp had established a successful immigration consultancy years prior, but realized the opportunity for a technological solution to inefficiencies in the traditional immigration process.

Acceptance into the Co.Labs program in May 2018 marked a significant milestone for the company, setting the stage for a period of intensive product development and investor readiness.

Transforming the immigration space was not an easy mission; the Covid-19 pandemic had serious impacts on immigration, requiring a temporary pause and pivot in 2020. In February 2021, the company received its first investment, through the inaugural Startup TNT summit in Saskatchewan. The team, then comprised of four dedicated members, secured additional funding in April 2022.

Under the leadership of CEO Keli Propp, appointed in May 2023, Immigrate launched the second iteration of its platform, gaining over 35,000 users in its first nine months.

Looking to the Future

As Immigrate Software graduates from the Co.Labs program, the team reflects on the journey with gratitude for the milestones achieved. The experience has been instrumental in shaping the company’s trajectory, providing a solid foundation for future growth and success.

Immigrate Software is poised to continue its mission of making immigration easy, driven by a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence. The company looks forward to making the Canadian dream a reality for its many clients.
